pinky issue 9

Issue 9 of pinky, the official @girlscarryingshit magazine, is about striving for satisfaction. Whether you think of satisfaction as a final destination, a fleeting feeling, or an ever-moving goal post, we've thought about it, too. As we learned in conversation with Dr. M the Science Femme, thinking about what would satisfy you is a crucial part of feeling satisfied when you get it. Working our way outwards, we consulted dancers Charlie Sue & Julia Dipretoro from The G-Strings about satisfying an audience (hint: start with yourself). Then, the two of them led by example in a viscerally-satisfying photo story, TODAYFELTLIKE #022426 by Val Henderson. Satisfaction is highly specific though, so we took the time to explore it from 30+ other angles, including food, sex, treasure hunts, surveys, cleaning, rotting, fantasizing, following through, and more. We may have even discovered the secret to living a satisfying life. You'll have to read to find out.
